CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-185 <br /> <br />APPROVING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR 1978-79 <br />WITH AMENDMENTS MADE BY COUNCIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 11, 1978, the City Council reviewed <br />the Capital Improvement and a report from the Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities, dated July 3, 1978, regarding <br />proposed addition to the Capital Improvement Program for <br />fiscal year 1978-79 for the Railroad Consolidation Track <br />Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />after discussion by councilmembers and an opportunity for <br />public testimony, Council took action approving the Capital <br />Improvement Program for fiscal year 1978-79 with certain <br />amendments; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year <br /> 1978-79 with the following amendments: <br /> <br />Remove the Busch Road Railroad Crossing Project and <br />request staff to prepare a report showing where the <br />$80,000 allocated for this project could be used for <br />completion of other projects. <br /> <br />2. Approved the total of $348,685 for park projects to <br /> be used as determined by Council. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JULY 11, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood and <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~ER.~CER,~ <br />By Doris Geg~ge, ~ity Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Levine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
