CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-220 WHEREAS, A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO REZONE THE TWO AND ONE-THIRD ACRE SITE LOCATED BETWEEN 2776 AND 2818 FOOT- HILL ROAD FROM THE HPD (HILLSIDE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) TO THE R-l-40 DISTRICT the City Council, at its meeting of August 29, 1978 received a proposed negative declaration for an application to rezone a 2 1/3 acre site located 5atween 2776 and 2818 Foothill Road from the HPD (Hillside Planned Development) District to the R-1-40~District (hereinafter referred to as the Pro- ject); and WHEREAS , staff has determined that the proposed rezoning is a project for the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the Project; and WHEREAS the City Council, at its meeting of August 29, 1978 also received that Initial Study dated August 22, 1978; and WHEREAS each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had been published in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation;and WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council determines that on the basis of a review of the initial environmental study the proposed Project would not have any significant adverse effects on the en- vironment and therefore no Environmental Impact Report shall be prepared. Section 2. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4 (g) of Resolution No. 77-66.
