CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78-217 <br /> APPROVING LIGHTING ONE LIGHT ON EACH TWO-LIGHT COURT OR <br /> CUL-DE-SAC AND AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's lighting plan called for turning off both street <br /> lights on medium length two-light cul-de-sacs or courts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the length of those cul-de-sacs resulm in over-dark streets; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, some flexibility is needed in other unique situations in <br /> deciding to add lighting to dark spots. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That on two light courts one light be turned back on. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the City staff be given flexibility to turn on <br /> other lights where the unique situation requires <br /> <br />Section 3. That the City's budget for 1978-79 be amended accordingly. <br />Section 4. This resolution shall be effective immediately. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON AUGUST 29, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Kephart and Wood <br /> <br />Clayton E.
