CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78-209 <br />A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE COST OF ABATEMENT OF WEEDS ON <br />PARCELS NOS. 164, 165 and 166, IN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />FOR 1978 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at their meeting of July 25, 1978, City Council received a <br />report dated July 19, 1978, from the Fire Marshal listing <br />the costs on a per lot basis of abating weeds upon or in <br />front of certain lots within the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there were no objections to the itemized costs set forth <br />in said list with the exception of Parcels numbered 164, <br />165 and 166, owned by Mr. Art Dunkley; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />City Council, by Resolution No. 78-190 adopted on July 25, <br />1978, confirmed the itemized costs as set forth in the <br />report of the Fire Marshal with the exception of the three <br />parcels owned by Mr. Dunkley and asked City staff to recheck <br />the information related to said parcels and report back to <br />Council at their meeting of August 8, 1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Attorney and the Fire Marshal have verified that <br />all of the City's procedures for weed abatement have been <br />conducted pursuant to provisions set forth in Government <br />Code Section 39500, and following, and recommend that the <br />costs for weed abatement on these three parcels be confirmed <br />and filed with the Auditor of Alameda County, together with <br />those costs approved by Resolution No. 78-190, in order <br />that said costs may be billed and collected as taxes against <br />said lots. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The itemized costs for weed abatement as set forth in <br /> the Fire Marshal's report dated July 19, 1978, for Parcels <br /> Nos. 164, 165 and 166, owned by Mr. Art Dunkley, are hereby <br /> confirmed and the appropriate City officers instructed to <br /> take whatever action necessary to implement said confirma- <br /> tion including the filing of said itemization of costs <br /> with the Auditor of the County of Alameda in order that <br /> said costs be billed and collected as taxes against the <br /> lots to which the costs herein approved have attached <br /> as liens. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> <br /> <br />
