CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78-205 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION <br />WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY FOR APPROPRIATION OF ONE HUNDRED <br />FOURTEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY-ONE AND FIFTY-ONE/ <br />100ths DOLLARS ($114,391.51) IN GAS TAX FUNDS TO THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton's share of the 1978-79 Mayors' Formula <br />Distribution of certain gas tax funds, administered by the <br />County of Alameda, is ONE HUNDRED FOURTEEN THOUSAND THREE <br />HUNDRED NINETY-ONE AND FIFTY-ONE/100thS DOLLARS ($114,391.51); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for appropriation of said fund to the City <br /> of Pleasanton has been prepared by the Director of Engineering <br /> Services for the City of Pleasanton dated August 1, 1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of August 8, 1978 reviewed <br /> said application together with the projects contained therein. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the Director of Public Works and Utilities to <br /> submit to the County Board of Supervisors an application for <br /> appropriation of gas tax funds for fiscal year 1978-79 in the <br /> sum of ONE HUNDRED FOURTEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY-ONE <br /> AND FIFTY-ONE/100thS DOLLARS ($114,391.51) in accordance with <br /> the application dated August 8, 1978, which is attached hereto <br /> as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the City Clerk to transmit a copy of this <br /> resolution, together with Exhibit A, to the Board of Supervisors <br /> of Alameda County and to such other persons as may request a <br /> copy of said resolution. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON AUGUST 8, 1978 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTEST. .
