CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78-202 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-123 (ESTABLISHING <br />FEES AND CHARGES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPAL SERVICES OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON) TO PROVIDE FOR INCREASES IN SEWER <br />SERVICE CHARGES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton provides a variety of municipal <br />services for which fees and charges have been established <br />and compiled in Resolution No. 77-123; and <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of August 8, 1978, received <br />and considered reports prepared by Stone and Youngberg, <br />municipal finance consultants, and by Assistant to the <br />City Manager Walker recommending that the sewer service <br />charges be increased in order to meet necessary expenses <br />incurred by the City in providing these services to resi- <br />dential, commercial, industrial users and schools; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the report of the Assistant to the City Manager, <br /> dated July 21, 1978, entitled "Increase of Sewer Service <br /> Charges." <br /> <br />Section 2. Resolution No. 77-123 (A Resolution Establishing Fees <br /> and Charges for Various Municipal Services of the City of <br /> Pleasanton), paragraph IV-A (Sewer Service Charges) is <br /> amended as follows: <br /> <br />A. Senior citizens 62 years or older who provide a Gold <br /> Card as evidence of age shall be given a 20% reduction in <br /> rates for owner-occupied residence for residential use <br /> only and for one unit only. <br /> <br /> <br />
