CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-240 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE FEES TO THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br />AND THE FOOTHILL HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS CLUB FOR CITY <br />EXPENSES INCURRED RELATED TO THEIR PARADES ON SEPTEMBER <br />17 AND OCTOBER 28, 1978, AND AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET <br />ACCORDINGLY (APPROXI}IATELY $1,040 - $215 FOR CHAMBER AND <br />$825 FOR FOOTHILL HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS CLUB) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council approved the parade applications for the <br />Foothill High School Band Parade and the Chamber of Commerce <br />Heritage Days Parade at the August 29, 1978, City Council <br />meeting; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council did not take action on the question of reimbursment <br /> of City costs related to the parades. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves waiving the fees to the Chamber of Commerce and <br /> the Foothill High School Band Boosters Club for City expenses <br /> incurred related to their parades on September 17 and October <br /> 28, 1978, and amending the City Budget accordingly (Approxi- <br /> mately $1,040 - $215 for Chamber and $825 for Foothill High <br /> School Band Boosters Club). <br /> <br />Section 2.
