WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />NOW, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CQUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />S~ATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-238 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING SPECIAL <br />PROJECTS FOR CETA TITLE VI, FOURTH ROUND FUNDING. <br /> <br />The Alameda County Training and Employment Board, ACTEB, <br />announced the availability of funds for Public Service <br />Employment Projects under Title VI of the Comprehensive <br />Employment and Training Act of 1973 (CETA); and <br /> <br />Sixteen (16) proposals were submitted to the City of <br />Pleasanton for review; and <br /> <br />The Human Services Commission held a public hearing at a <br />special meeting on August 31, 1978, to allow program appli- <br />cants an opportunity to present their projects; and <br /> <br />The Human Services Commission, after reviewing the projects <br />submitted,took action ranking them in the order they wished <br />the projects funded; and <br /> <br />The City Council, on September 12, 1978, reviewed the <br />September 6, 1978, report of the Director of Recreation and <br />Human Resources containing the priority schedule for <br />funding of the projects recommended by the Human Services <br />Commission. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br /> <br />The City Council has reviewed and evaluated the projects <br />submitted for CETA Title VI, Fourth Round Funding, and <br />recommends their priority ranking as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br /> 9. <br />10. <br /> <br />Pleasanton Downtown Assocation - Preservation Planner <br /> <br />Valley Child Care Freis & Miller - Field Coordinator <br />Assistant <br /> <br />Parental Stress Service - Parent Advocate <br /> <br />Valley Volunteer Bureau - Youth Counselor/Coordinator <br /> <br />Hotline, Inc. - Media and Funding Development <br />Specialist <br /> <br />Advocates for Women - Resources Assistant <br />Tri-Valley Haven for Women - Community Researcher, <br />Caseworker, Secretary <br /> <br />Hotline, Inc. - Family Services Consultant <br />Southern Alameda County Y.W.C.A. - Womens Program Aide <br />Twin Valley Y.M.C.A. - Program Coordinator <br /> <br /> <br />
