CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFO~qIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-236 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING FOR AN <br />INDEFINITE PERIOD OF TIME A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT <br />AT 4195 FRANCISCO STREET, FOR TRI-CITIES AMBULANCE <br />COMPANY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />Tri-Cities Ambulance Company was granted a temporary permit <br />by the City Council on March 13, 1978, for a period of <br />six months, to conduct an ambulance service from a resi- <br />dence at 4195 Francisco Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Tri-Cities Ambulance Company applied for an extension of <br /> said home occupation permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City Council, on September 12, 1978, reviewed the request <br />and received a report dated September 5, 1978, from the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing at which time <br />the applicant and any ~ther member of the public was <br />offered an opportunity to present evidence regarding <br />this application, and no one spoke in opposition. <br /> <br />NOW, TtIEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the application of Tri-Cities Ambulance Company <br /> to operate the ambulance service from a residence at <br /> 4195 Francisco Street, for an indefinite period of time, <br /> subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That only one ambulance be kept on the site at any time. <br /> <br />2. That the siren of the ambulance not be used until the <br />vehicle is on Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />3. That all applicable requirements of Article 20 (Home <br />Occupations), Chapter II, Title II of the Ordinance Code <br />of the City of Pleasanton be adhered to except for the <br />following: <br /> <br />Section 2-10.17(b) - Materials, equipment, stock or <br />supplies used for a Home Occupation shall not occupy <br />more than one room of a dwelling or more than 50 square <br />feet of an accessory building or garage. <br /> <br />Section 2-10.17(e) - The Home Occupation shall be <br />clearly incidental and subordinate to the use of the <br />structure as a dwelling. <br /> <br /> <br />
