A <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78-221 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING CERTAIN STREET NAMES IN THE CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of August 29° 1978, re- <br />ceived and considered a report dated August 21, 1978, from <br />Mr. Alan B. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Utilities, <br />recommending that changes be made in the names of certain <br />streets in the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after discussion, it was determined that these changes <br /> would be in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the following changes to be made in the names <br /> of two streets in the City of Pleasanton: <br /> <br />1. Santa Rita Road from the Main Street bridge to <br /> the Western Pacific Railroad tracks be changed <br /> to Main Street; and <br />2. Johnson Industrial Drive be changed to Johnson <br /> Drive; <br /> <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AT ITS <br />MEETING OF AUGUST 29, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers NONE <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers - Kephart and Woo <br /> <br />Cla~t!n E.'
