CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-253 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF HARRIS REALTY TO REZONE AN APPROXIMATELY <br />1.1 ACRE PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER <br />OF JOHNSON INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, AND HOPYARD ROAD FROM THE <br />I-G (GENERAL INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT TO THE 0 (OFFICE) <br />DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of October3, 1978, received <br />a proposed negative declaration for the application of Harris <br />Realty to rezone an approximately 1.1 acre parcel of land lo- <br />cated at the northwest corner of Johnson Industrial Drive, and <br />Hopyard Road from the I-G (General Industrial) District to the <br />0 (Office) District (hereinafter referred to as the Project); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed application to rezone <br />is a project for the purposes of the California Environmental <br />Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for <br />the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of October 3, 1978, also <br /> received that Initial Study dated June 30, 1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. <br />77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Decla- <br />ration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to cor~nent on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and <br />Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed application of <br /> Harris Realty to rezone an approximately 1.1 acre parcel of <br /> land located at the northwest corner of Johnson Industrial <br /> Drive and Hopyard Road from the I-G (General Industrial) Dis- <br /> trict to the 0 (Office District would not have any signigicant <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
