CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78- 250 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF PLEASANTON BUDGET FOR <br />1978-79 TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL CROSSING GUARDS FOR <br />PLEASANTON SCHOOLS IN THE MURRAY SCHOOL DISTRICT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has provided funds for crossing <br />guards for various intersections near schools in the City <br />of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in providing these funds, it has also indicated that it <br />will meet with representatives of the other taxing agencies <br />before the close of the fiscal year to determine the proper <br />agencies to meet these and other costs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a representative of the Murray School District Board addressed <br />the City Council at its October 3, 1978, meeting regarding <br />the need for crossing guards in the Murray School District's <br />Pleasanton schools; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes amending the budget for the 1978-79 fiscal <br /> year to provide for $5,000 to provide crossing guards at <br /> DonIon School and, if the City Manager determines that it <br /> is necessary, at Lydiksen School. <br /> <br />Section 2.
