CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-249 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MODIFICATION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH THE ALAMEDA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND <br />WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT FOR THE USE OF CERTAIN FLOOD <br />CONTROL CHANNELS FOR RECREATIONAL PURPOSES <br /> <br />the City entered into an agreement with the Alameda County Flood Control <br />and Water Conservation District in January 1971, providing for the <br />Recreational Use of the Arroyo del Valle between the Arroyo de la Laguna <br />and Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said agreement provided that additional areas might be added by mutual <br /> agreement; and <br /> <br />on October 3, 1978, the City Council at a regular meeting considered a <br />modification to the original agreement of January 1971, to add the <br />Arroyo del Valle from Hopyard Road to Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Modification to Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and <br /> the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District adding <br /> the Arroyo del Valle from Hopyard Road to Santa Rita Road to the Agreement <br /> of January 1971, allowing for the recreational use of District owned <br /> properties by the City of Pleasanton is hereby approved and the appro- <br /> priate City officers are directed to execute said Modification to Agree- <br /> ment. <br /> <br />Section 2.
