CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-274 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE 1979-80 COOPERATION <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF ALAmeDA RELATING TO THE HOUSING <br />AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1977 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton and County of Alameda previously <br />entered into a cooperation agreement for the disbursal of <br />Housing and Community Development Act funds upon appication <br />and receipt of said funds by the County of Alameda; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is necessary for the City and County to enter into a <br />cooperation agreement for the filing of an application by <br />the County of Alameda as an urban county for funds for <br />fiscal year 1979-80; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has designated to the County of <br />Alameda projects which will be funded by moneys attributable <br />to the City under the Housing and Community Development Act; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes execution by the Mayor of a cooperation <br /> agreement between the City and the County of Alameda for <br /> the Housing and Community Development program for fiscal <br /> year 1979-80. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 24, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />
