CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTRY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-271 <br /> <br />RE: APPROVING PROGRESS PAYMENT NO. 1 TO MOUNTAIN CONSTRUCTION, <br />INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,885.20 FOR WORK ON PROJECT #78-3 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Mountain Construction, Inc., performed in connection <br /> with work on Project No. 78-3, Central Business District <br /> Storm Drainage Outfall, has progressed satisfactorily to <br /> the point at which Progress Payment No. 1 is in order; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received, at their meeting of October 24, 1978, a <br /> report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> dated October 18, 1978, recommending that this progress <br /> payment be paid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves payment of Progress Payment No. 1 to Mountain <br /> Construction, Inc., in the amount of $40,885.20, in connec- <br /> tion with work on Project No. 78-3, Central Business District <br /> Storm Drainage Outfall, and the Finance Officer is hereby <br /> instructed to prepare a warrant in that amount. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 24, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> evin~, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
