CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-261 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REVIEWING BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF PETERS AVENUE WATER LINE AND SANITARY <br />SEWER LINE, PROJECT NO. 78-8, TO RAYMOND Jo HAUG. <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for the construction <br />of Peters Avenue Water Line and Sanitary Sewer Line, Project <br />No. 78-8; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code No. 37900, et seq., the City <br />Engineering Services Department advertised for bids regarding <br />this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Council reviewed the bids received for the project on October <br />10, 1978, and the bid of Raymond J. Haug, in the amount of <br />$38,044.60, was determined to be the lowest responsible bid; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this is a budget project in the current Capital Improvement <br /> Program. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The bid of Raymond J. Haug, in the amount of $38,044.60, <br /> for the Construction of Peters Avenue Water Line and Sanitary <br /> Sewer Line, Project No. 78-8, is hereby accepted by City <br /> Council as the lowest responsibile bid. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City is authorized to enter into a contract with <br /> Raymond J. Haug, for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3.
