CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-294 <br /> <br />DECLARING RESULTS OF SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br />NOVEMBER 7, 1978 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Notice of election was duly given, election officers appointed, supplies <br /> furnished and all other requirements for general law cities complied with, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The total number of ballots voted for City Council candidate was as per <br /> Exhibit A, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, There were no City Measures at this Municipal Election. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The following person is hereby elected: <br /> <br />Robert E. Butler, elected member of the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton for the unexpired term of William J.
