CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-290 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THOMAS McMANUS <br />FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DES- <br />IGNATION OF ALL BUT THE EASTERN 5 ACRES OF THE McMANUS <br />PROPERTY FROM "OPEN SPACE-PARKS AND RECREATION" TO "MEDIUM <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mr. Thomas McManus has made application for a General Plan <br />amendment to change the land use designation of all but the <br />eastern five acres of the approximately 66-acre parcel of <br />land located between the Recreation and Sports Park and the <br />Arroyo Mocho immediately east of Hopyard Road from "Open <br />Space-Parks and Recreation" to "Medium Density Residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of November 21, 1978, held <br />a public hearing regarding said application, at which time an <br />opportunity was given to the applicant and members of the <br />public to present testimony in favor or in opposition to the <br />amendment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approving the application of Thomas McManus for a General <br /> Plan Amendment to change the land use designation of all but <br /> the eastern five acres of the approximately 66-acre parcel of <br /> land located between the Recreation and Sports Park and the <br /> Arroyo Mocho immediately east of Hopyard Road from "Open Space- <br /> Park and Recreation" to "Medium Density Residential." <br /> <br />Section 2.
