CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-289 <br /> <br />APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THOMAS <br />MCMANUS FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE <br />LAND USE DESIGNATION OF A 66 ACRE PARCEL OF LAND EAST <br />OF HOPYARD ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 21, 1978, the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton received and reviewed the report <br />dated November 12, 1978, from the Director of Planning <br />and Cormnunity Development, and the Environmental Impact <br />Report regarding the application of Thomas McManus for a <br />General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation <br />of a 66 acre parcel of land located between the Recreation <br />and Sports Park and the Arroyo Mocho immediately east of <br />Hopyard Road from "Open Space-Parks and Recreation" to <br />"Medium Density Residential"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held at that meeting of November 21, <br />1978, at which time members of the public were given the <br />opportunity to address the City Council regarding the <br />above mentioned Environmental Impact Report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Cormnission has reviewed and considered the <br />information contained in the Environmental Impact Report <br />and found it in compliance with CEQA and state guidelines. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Certifies that the City Council has reviewed and <br /> considered that information contained in the Environmental <br /> Impact Report and found it in compliance with CEQA and <br /> State guidelines. <br /> <br />Section 2. Approves the Environmental Impact Report for a General <br /> Plan Amendment to change the land use designation of a <br /> 66 acre parcel of land located between the Recreation and <br /> Sports Park and the Arroyo Mocho immediately east of <br /> Hopyard Road from "Open Space-Parks and Recreation" to <br /> "Medium Density Residential". <br /> <br />~ection 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
