WHE~AS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78-284 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING TRI-VALLEY PUMPING SERVICE TO BE ALLOWED TO <br />DISPOSE OF HOLDING TANK EFFLUENT AT THE CITY'S SUNOL <br />SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS. <br /> <br />Council, at their meeting of November 14, 1978, received <br />and considered a report from the City Manager recommending <br />that Tri-Valley Pumping Service be allowed to dispose of <br />holding tank effluent at the City's Sunol plant subject to <br />certain conditions; and <br />it was determined by Council that this proposal would be <br />feasible. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1o Authorizes Tri-Valley Pumping Service to dispose of holding <br /> tank effluent at the City's Sunol plant subject to the <br /> following provisions: <br /> (1) Provided all effluent is from holding tanks in the <br /> City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br /> (2) The per gallon charge shall be set at one cent with the <br /> provision that Tri-Valley Pumping Service may not charge more <br /> than one cent per gallon for the service; and <br /> <br /> (3) The City Manager be authorized to establish regulations <br /> regarding the disposal of holding tank effluent at the <br /> Sunol plant. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON NOVEMBER 14, 1978, BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Kephart, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Butler <br />ATTEST: ~~MERCER, MayorK <br />C~n E.
