CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION 78-282 A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF BRADLEY HIRST TO A DECISION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD DENYING HIS APPLICA- TION FOR A REVISION OF THE SIGNING PROGRAM FOR THE BUILDING LOCATED AT 915 MAIN STREET, PLEASANTON WHEREAS, on October 11, 1978, the Design Review Board denied the request of Allstate Realtors for a modification of the approved signing program for the building at 915 Main Street; and WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley Hirst appealed the decision of the Design Review Board at the City Council meeting of November 14, 1978, at which time he and Mr. Bob Piper, representing Allstate Realtors, stated their reasons for requesting the Council to approve the appeal of the decision of the Design Review Board; and WHEREAS, members of the public were also given an opportunity to speak relating to the appeal; however, no one in the audience spoke in opposition to the appeal; and WHEREAS, after discussion by Councilmembers, a motion to approve the appeal of Bradley Hirst to a decision of the Design Review Board failed by a tie vote of the Councilmembers present; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That by the above action this resolution is hereby adopted denying the appeal of Bradley Hirst to a decision of the Design Review Board denying an application for a revision of the signing program for the building located at 915 Main Street, Pleasanton.
