CITY OF PLEASANTON COFNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-312 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN FIXING SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL PERSONNEL FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON NOT INCLUDING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 77-232 AND AMENDING THE 1978-79 BUDGET ACCORDINGLy WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the establishment and designation of employees as management and confidential employees; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted a compensation plan recommending salary ranges and supplementary benefits for Fiscal Year 1978-79 for management and confidential employees; and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously, by Resolution No. 77-232, adopted a compensation plan for the above employees, which resolution must now be repealed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section Section Section 1. The salary ranges and supplementary benefits for management employees for the period commencing July 1, 1978, and ending September 30, 1979, shall be as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 2. The salary ranges and supplementary benefits for confidential employees for the period commencing July 1, 1978, and ending September 30, 1979, shall be as set forth in Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 3. The 1978-79 Budget of the City of Pleasanton is amended accord- ingly. Section Section 4. Resolution No. 77-232 is hereby repealed. 5. Except as provided herein to the contrary the terms and provisions of this Resolution shall not effect the applicability of the Personnel Rules of the City of Pleasanton management and confidential employees who are not exempt from said Rules. Section 6. The wages and fringe benefits set forth in this Resolution shall he the only compensation for the positions set forth in Exhibits A and B hereto and there shall be no right to receive benefits contained in any Memoranda of Understanding with the City's recognized employee organizations which are not included in the wages and benefits set forth herein. It is the City Council's intention that there shall be mutual exclusivity between the compensation plans set forth in this Resolution and the items contained in negotiated Memoranda of Under- standing.
