CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-307A <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF LIONS CLUB APPLICATION FOR A PARADE PERMIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of December 19, 1978, <br />received a report dated December 13, 1978, from the <br />Assistant to the City Manager, James Walker, regarding <br />an application from the Lions Club for a permit to <br />sponsor the 1979 Alameda County Fair Parade in June 1979; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has recommended that the City Council approves the <br /> application. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY CQUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves application by Lions Club for a permit to <br /> sponsor the 1979 Alameda County Fair Parade in June 1979, <br /> to be held in the City of Pleasanton as more particularly <br /> delineated in the report of the Assistant to the City <br /> Manager, James Walker dated December 13, 1978, subject to <br /> all conditions set forth by the Police Department. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City budget for fiscal year 1978-79 is amended from <br /> the unallocated reserves approximately $1,870.00, necessary <br /> to pay for costs incurred in relationship to the 1979 Alameda <br /> County Fair Parade sponsored by the Lions Club. <br /> <br />Section 3.
