CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTy OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-305 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-123 (ESTABLISHING <br />FEES AND CHARGES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPAL SERVICES OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON) TO PROVIDE FOR A CHANGE IN BICYCLE <br />LICENSING FEES. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Sections 4-2.39 and 4-2.40 of Article 4, Chapter 2, Title IV <br />of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton require that <br />residents of the City obtain a license from the City to <br />operate bicycles upon any street, road, highway or other <br />public place within the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Resolution No. 77-123 (Establishing Fees and Charges <br />Various Municipal Services in the City of Pleasanton) <br />forth the fees for bicycle licenses and renewals in <br />Section V(G); and <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of December 19, 1978, <br />received a reconmendation from the Pleasanton Police <br />Department that Resolution No. 77-123 be amended to <br />reflect a change in the bicycle license fee; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Exhibit A of Resolution No. 77-123 is hereby amended by <br /> deleting subsection G of Section V, relating to Bicycle <br /> licensing, and substituting therefor the following sub- <br /> section: <br /> <br />Bicycle Licensing <br /> <br />1. Bicycle Licenses and Registration Certificate <br /> for 3 years $3.00 <br />2. Transfer of Registration $1.00 <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br /> 3. Replacement of License or <br /> Registration Certificate $1.00 <br /> 4. Change of Address $0.00 <br /> <br />This resolution shall be effective immediately. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 19, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Brow, Clerk <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
