CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-301 WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL INDICATING ITS TENTATIVE SUPPORT OF AN ALTERNATE, ON-SITE SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEM ON PF-580 SITE. FOOTHILL - 580 PROPERTIES owns some 20 acres of property located at the southwestern quadrant of the intersection of Foothill Road and Freeway 580; and the property has had commercial zoning for a number of years and is on the B-3 priority list of the 1972 Settlement Agreement; and it is possible that sewer connections will be available at the Dublin-San Ramon Services District sewer treatment plant; and the property owner desires, should connections not become available when needed at the Dublin-San Ramon Service District plant, some assurance that the City of Pleasanton would consider, on an interim basis, as an alternative, an on-site sewage disposal system to accommodate commercial development on said property, including, but not limited to, septic or package systems; and WHEREAS, it is estimated by the property owner that development of the property can be done with an alternate system with a maximum capacity of 15,000 gallons per day; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City Council indicate by this resolution its tentative support of an alternate, on-site sewage treatment system on PF-580 site, if sewer connections are unavailable at the Dublin San Ramon Services District plant subject to the City Council policy regarding on-site sewage treatment facilities for commercial uses; a study evidencing the viability of such a system on the PF-580 site; and approval by the City and all other appropriate agencies prior to design review consideration. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
