CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-301 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL INDICATING ITS <br /> TENTATIVE SUPPORT OF AN ALTERNATE, ON-SITE SEWAGE <br /> TREATMENT SYSTEM ON PF-580 SITE. <br /> <br /> FOOTHILL - 580 PROPERTIES owns some 20 acres of property <br /> located at the southwestern quadrant of the intersection <br /> of Foothill Road and Freeway 580; and <br /> the property has had commercial zoning for a number of <br /> years and is on the B-3 priority list of the 1972 Settlement <br /> Agreement; and <br /> it is possible that sewer connections will be available at <br /> the Dublin-San Ramon Services District sewer treatment plant; <br /> and <br /> the property owner desires, should connections not become <br /> available when needed at the Dublin-San Ramon Service District <br /> plant, some assurance that the City of Pleasanton would <br /> consider, on an interim basis, as an alternative, an on-site <br /> sewage disposal system to accommodate commercial development <br /> on said property, including, but not limited to, septic or <br /> package systems; and <br />WHEREAS, it is estimated by the property owner that development of <br /> <br /> the property can be done with an alternate system with a <br /> maximum capacity of 15,000 gallons per day; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the City Council indicate by this resolution its <br /> tentative support of an alternate, on-site sewage treatment <br /> system on PF-580 site, if sewer connections are unavailable <br /> at the Dublin San Ramon Services District plant subject to <br /> the City Council policy regarding on-site sewage treatment <br /> facilities for commercial uses; a study evidencing the <br /> viability of such a system on the PF-580 site; and approval <br /> by the City and all other appropriate agencies prior to <br /> design review consideration. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
