CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFOINIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-11 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION PERMITTING THE TRANSFER OF THE CARD ROOM <br />PERMIT AT 537 MAIN STREET, PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Michael D. Bettencourt and Wallace F. Travasso have re- <br />quested transfer of the permit for the card room at the <br />Castle, 537 Main Street, from its previous owners William <br />and Shirley Quebbeman; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the November 14, 1978 City Council meeting that item <br /> was continued; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at a subsequent Council meeting Council decided to review <br /> the entire ordinance governing card rooms; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was scheduled to review the card room <br />ordinance for the January 23, 1979 meeting of the City <br />Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, extensive comments from the public were taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. To transfer the card room permit at the Castle, 537 <br /> Main Street from William and Shirley Quebbeman to Michael <br /> D. Bettencourt and Wallace F. Travasso. <br /> <br />Section 2. No action be taken to modify Article 7 (Card Rooms), <br /> Chapter 2, Title IV of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3.
