RESOLUTION NO. 79-29 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS <br /> <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1974-1, STONERIDGE CENTER <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council has given approval to the report of the <br />Engineer of Work for improvements in Assessment District No. 1974-1, <br />Stoneridge Center, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California. <br />Said Engineer of Work has now filed with the City Council finished <br />plans and specifications for the work to be done in Assessment <br />District No. 1974-1. <br /> <br /> 2. This Council approves said plans and specifications on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> 3. The City of Pleasanton will receive sealed proposals <br />for the work covered by the plans and specifications not later than <br />3:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 12, 1979, in the office of the City <br />Clerk, located at 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. At <br />that time and place, the sealed proposals will be publicly opened, <br />examined and declared. <br /> <br /> 4. The City Council reserves the power in its discretion <br />tO reject all proposals. The award of construction contract, if made, <br />shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder within ~he ~ime fixed <br />in the specifications (or any extension of time agreed to by the City <br />of Pleasanton and the lowest responsible bidder). <br /> <br /> 5. The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice to con- <br />tractors in THE TIMES in accordance with the Municipal Improvement <br />Act of 1913. The Engineer of Work is authorized to give additional <br />notice and to distribute additional information as necessary in the <br /> <br /> <br />
