RESOLUTION NO. 79-50 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING <br /> FOR BIDS <br /> <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1974-5, STONERIDGE CENTER <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council has given approval to the report of the <br />Engineer of Work for improvements in Assessment District No. 1974-5, <br />Stoneridge Center, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California. <br />The Engineer of Work has now filed with the City Council finished <br />plans and specifications for the Stoneridge street improvements <br />to be done in Assessment District No. 1974-5. <br /> <br /> 2. This Council approves these plans and specifications <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> '3. The City of Pleasanton will receive sealed proposals <br />for the work covered by the plans and specifications not later than <br />3:00 P.M. on May 15, 1979, in the office of the City Clerk, located <br /> <br />at 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. At that time and place, <br />the sealed proposals will be publicly opened, examined and declared. <br /> <br /> 4. The City Council reserves the power in its discretion <br />to reject all proposals. The award of construction contract, if made, <br />shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder within the time fixed <br />in the specifications (or any extension of time agreed to by the City <br />of Pleasanton and the lowest responsible bidder). <br /> <br /> 5. The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice to con- <br />tractors in THE TIMES in accordance with the Municipal Improvement <br />Act of 1913. The Engineer of Work is authorized to give additional <br />notice and to distribute additional information as necessary in the <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
