CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-45 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />DECLINING TO TAKE A POSITION OPPOSING THE <br />INCORPORATION PLANS CURRENTLY BEING DISCUSSED <br />FOR THE DUBLIN-SAN RAMON AREA. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Several studies have been made of the Dublin-San Ramon- <br />Pleasanton area relating to incorporation of <br /> <br />Dublin-San Ramon; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City Council, at their meeting of March 29, 1979, <br /> <br /> discussed the possible incorporation of Dublin-San Ramon. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Board of Directors of the Dublin-San Ramon Services <br /> District be informed that the City of Pleasanton will <br /> not take a position in opposition to the incorporation <br /> <br />plans currently being discussed for Dublin-San Ramon. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON MARCH 29, 1979, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood and <br /> Mayor Brandes <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Attest: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM <br /> <br /> <br />
