RESOLUTION NO. 79-43 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br /> CALLING FOR BIDS <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1974-3, STONERIDGE CENTER <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> ~. 1. This Council has given approval to the report of the <br /> 7.!'~'Engineer of Wo'rk fo~improvements in Assessment District Nb. 1974-3, <br />'~S~oneridg, Center,'~f]eity 'of Pleasanton" "Alameda County ,California. <br /> ={~The Engineer of Work has now filed with the City Council finished <br /> .]]~plans and specifications for the Stoneridge Drive signals and lighting <br /> ~'.r~to be done in Assessment District No. 1974-3. <br /> <br /> .~.~.2.2 .This Council approves these plans and specifications <br /> ~.%~,0n file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> "-~z~ 3.' The City of Pleasanton will receive sealed proposals <br /> for the work covered b~' the plans and specifications not later than <br /> 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 26, 1979, in the office of the City <br /> ~j?~.~Clerk,-located at 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. At <br /> ~4.~.~that time and place, the sealed proposals will be publicly opened, <br /> <br /> examined and declared. <br /> <br /> ~ ~4. The City Council reserves the power in its discretion <br /> tO reject all proposals. The award of construction contract, if made, <br /> shall be made to the lowest responsible ~idder within the time fixed <br /> <br />in the specifications (or any extension of time agreed to by the City <br /> <br />of Pleasanton and the lowest responsible bidder). <br /> <br />5. The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice to con- <br /> <br />tractors in THE TIMES in accordance with the Municipal Improvement <br /> <br />Act of <br />notice <br /> <br />1913.
