RE: <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 79-78 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF ACCEPTING FUNDING FOR AND IMPLEMENTATION <br />OF CITY'S SUMMER YOUTH RECREATION PROGRAM FOR 1979 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton Department of Recreation and Human <br />Resources has been notified by Alameda County Training and <br />Employment Board/Associated Community Action Board (ACTEB/ <br />ACAP) that the City's Summer Youth Recreation Program (SYRP) <br />proposal has been approved for funding in the amount of <br />$6,076; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this is the fifth year that the City of Pleasanton has <br /> participated in the program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of the Department of Recreation and Human <br />Resources, in his report to City Council dated May 9, 1979, <br />has recommended that Council approve the Summer Youth Recre- <br />ation Program in order to receive funding; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the Summer Youth Recreation Program for 1979 <br /> and authorizes the Pleasanton Department of Recreation and <br /> Human Resources to accept funding in the amount of $6,076 <br /> from Alameda County Training and Employment Board/Associated <br /> Community Action Program for the implementation of the <br /> program. <br /> <br />Section 2.
