CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-113 APPROVING REMOVAL OF CITY OWNED DWELLING AT 391 ST. MARY STREET TO COMPLETE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE EXTENSION OF PETERS AVENUE FROM ST. MARY STREET TO ST. JOHN STREET W~HEREAS, the City of Pleasanton owns the property at 391 St. Mary Street which was purchased for the purpose of completing Peters Avenue from St. Mary Street to St. John Street; and WHEREAS, this portion of the project was budgeted in the 1979-80 Fiscal Year Budget; and WHEREAS , the City Council, at its meeting of July 10, 1979, received a report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities dated July 3, 1979, recommending that the house at 391 St. Mary Street be sold by auction to the successful bidder who would then remove the house so that the Peters Avenue pro- ject could be completed; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities Director dated July 3, 1979, and authorizes staff to proceed with the sale of the dwelling at 391 St. Mary Street by auction as outlined in his report. Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JULY 10, 1979, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE. GETTMAN This is the resolution which was adopted on July 10, 1979, approving removal and sale of the house at at 391 St. Mary Street so that Peters Avenue could be completed. Frank Brandes then later said he wanted to hold off signing it since the possibility had been raised of the City keeping the house and moving it to another location.
