CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-111 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN <br /> APPLICATION TO REZONE A 4.9 ACRE PARCEL OF PROPERTY <br /> OWNED BY DEWITT WILSON LOCATED ALONG THE SOUTHSIDE OF <br /> JUNIPERO STREET BETWEEN SUNOL BLVD. AND SONOMA DRIVE <br /> FROM RM-4000 (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL) AND "S" STUDY DIS- <br /> TRICT TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) <br /> the City Council, at its meeting of July 10, 1979 received <br /> a proposed negative declaration for an application to rezone <br /> a 4.9 acre parcel of property owned by DeWitt Wilson located <br /> along the southside of Junipero Street between Sunol Blvd. <br /> and Sonoma Drive from RM-4000 (Multiple Residential) and <br /> "S" Study District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development Dis- <br /> trict) (hereinafter referred to as the Project); and <br /> <br /> staff has determined that the proposed negative declaration <br /> is a project for the purposes of the California Environ- <br /> mental Quality Act; and <br /> <br /> an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br /> Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br /> the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br /> for the Project; and <br /> <br /> the City Council, at its meeting of July 10, 1979 also re- <br /> ceived that Initial Study dated June 1, 1979; and <br /> each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br /> No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br /> Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br /> the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the pro- <br /> posed environmental assessment, which had been published <br /> in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br /> Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br /> projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report <br /> as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br /> and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed application <br /> of DeWitt Wilson to rezone a 4.9 acre parcel located along <br /> the southside of Junipero Street between Sunol Blvdo and <br /> Sonoma Drive from RM-4000 (Multiple Residential) and "S" <br /> Study District to the PUD (Planning Unit Development District) <br /> would not have any significant adverse effects on the environ- <br /> ment and therefore no Environmental Impact Report will be <br /> prepared. <br /> <br /> <br />
