CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-111 WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN APPLICATION TO REZONE A 4.9 ACRE PARCEL OF PROPERTY OWNED BY DEWITT WILSON LOCATED ALONG THE SOUTHSIDE OF JUNIPERO STREET BETWEEN SUNOL BLVD. AND SONOMA DRIVE FROM RM-4000 (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL) AND "S" STUDY DIS- TRICT TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) the City Council, at its meeting of July 10, 1979 received a proposed negative declaration for an application to rezone a 4.9 acre parcel of property owned by DeWitt Wilson located along the southside of Junipero Street between Sunol Blvd. and Sonoma Drive from RM-4000 (Multiple Residential) and "S" Study District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development Dis- trict) (hereinafter referred to as the Project); and staff has determined that the proposed negative declaration is a project for the purposes of the California Environ- mental Quality Act; and an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the Project; and the City Council, at its meeting of July 10, 1979 also re- ceived that Initial Study dated June 1, 1979; and each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the pro- posed environmental assessment, which had been published in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; and WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed application of DeWitt Wilson to rezone a 4.9 acre parcel located along the southside of Junipero Street between Sunol Blvdo and Sonoma Drive from RM-4000 (Multiple Residential) and "S" Study District to the PUD (Planning Unit Development District) would not have any significant adverse effects on the environ- ment and therefore no Environmental Impact Report will be prepared.
