CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-108 <br /> <br />APPROVING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR MISSION PARK <br />(PUD-77-10) PLANNED DEVELOPMENT CONSISTING OF A 108-LOT <br />RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION CONTAINING A 2.4 ACRE COMMERCIAL <br />AREA ON A 54-ACRE PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IMMEDIATELY EAS- <br />TERLY OF SUNOL BOULEVARD BETWEEN MISSION DRIVE AND PICO <br />AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mission Park Invest. Co. has applied for approval for a Plan- <br />ned Development consisting of a 108-lot residential subdivision <br />containing a 2.4 acre commercial area on a 54-acre parcel of <br />land located immediately easterly of Sunol Boulevard between <br />Mission Drive and Pico Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />prior to reviewing the development plans, the Planning Commis- <br />sion made the finding that the environmental impact report <br />prepared for the project was reviewed and accepted by the Plan- <br />ning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />On May 9, 1979, the Planning Commission held a public hearing <br />to review testimony, maps, and reports, and recommended ap- <br />proval of the Development Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing on July 10, 1979, at <br />which time the Director of Planning and Community Development <br />presented his report dated June 29, 1979, and members of the <br />public were given an opportunity to speak in favor or against <br />approval of the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined that the Environmental Impact Report was com- <br />pleted in ~ompliance with CEQA and State Guidelines; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br /> Certifies that the Environmental Impact Report has been com- <br />pleted in compliance with CEQA and State Guidelines, certifies <br />that the Council has reviewed and considered the information <br />in the Environmental Impact Report, and finding that the project <br />would have significant adverse impacts on the environment but <br />that certain conditions of approval, as set forth in Exhibit A <br />attached hereto, would mitigate the significant impacts of the <br />project, and hereby approves the Environmental Impact Report <br />prepared for a planned development consisting of a 108 lot <br />residential subdivision containing a 2.4 acre commercial area on <br />a 54 acre parcel of land located immediately easterly of Sunol <br />Boulevard and between Mission Drive and Pico Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
