CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-108 APPROVING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR MISSION PARK (PUD-77-10) PLANNED DEVELOPMENT CONSISTING OF A 108-LOT RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION CONTAINING A 2.4 ACRE COMMERCIAL AREA ON A 54-ACRE PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IMMEDIATELY EAS- TERLY OF SUNOL BOULEVARD BETWEEN MISSION DRIVE AND PICO AVENUE WHEREAS, Mission Park Invest. Co. has applied for approval for a Plan- ned Development consisting of a 108-lot residential subdivision containing a 2.4 acre commercial area on a 54-acre parcel of land located immediately easterly of Sunol Boulevard between Mission Drive and Pico Avenue; and WHEREAS, prior to reviewing the development plans, the Planning Commis- sion made the finding that the environmental impact report prepared for the project was reviewed and accepted by the Plan- ning Commission; and WHEREAS, On May 9, 1979, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to review testimony, maps, and reports, and recommended ap- proval of the Development Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on July 10, 1979, at which time the Director of Planning and Community Development presented his report dated June 29, 1979, and members of the public were given an opportunity to speak in favor or against approval of the project; and WHEREAS, it was determined that the Environmental Impact Report was com- pleted in ~ompliance with CEQA and State Guidelines; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Certifies that the Environmental Impact Report has been com- pleted in compliance with CEQA and State Guidelines, certifies that the Council has reviewed and considered the information in the Environmental Impact Report, and finding that the project would have significant adverse impacts on the environment but that certain conditions of approval, as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto, would mitigate the significant impacts of the project, and hereby approves the Environmental Impact Report prepared for a planned development consisting of a 108 lot residential subdivision containing a 2.4 acre commercial area on a 54 acre parcel of land located immediately easterly of Sunol Boulevard and between Mission Drive and Pico Avenue. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
