CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-102 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSERVATION <br />AND OPEN SPACE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Corfanission, after a public hearing at its <br />meeting of June 13, 1979, recommended approval of case <br />GP-79-10, an application to change the General Plan <br />designation of the easternmost approximately 1/5 (11 1/2 <br />acres) of the 54 acre parcel located east of Sunol Boule- <br />vard between Mission Drive and the future Pico Avenue from <br />"Open Space - Parks and Recreation" to "Medium Density <br />Residential" and "Open Space - Public Health and Safety;" <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of June 26, 1979, reviewed <br />and discussed the recommendation of the Planning Conmission <br />and reports from the Director of Planning dated June 13, and <br />June 20, 1979, regarding this application. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Approves the application of the City of Pleasanton for <br />an amendment to the Conservation and Open Space Element of <br />the General Plan which would change the planned acreage of <br />Mission Hill Park from 20 acres to 8.5 acres. <br /> <br />Section 2.
