CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-135 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A HOLDING TANK PE~IT FOR <br />WESTERN CONCRETE PRODUCTS INC. AT ITS FACILITY <br />TO BE LOCATED ON A 7-ACRE SITE JUST WESTERLY OF <br />THE PLEASANTON READY MIX FACILITY AND BETWEEN THE <br />WESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD AND VALLEY AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission and Design Review Board ap- <br />proved design review and gave conditional use approval <br />to the construction and use of a building to be lo- <br />cated on a 7~acre site just westerly of the Pleasanton <br />Ready Mix facility and between the Western Pacific <br />Railroad and Valley Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />due to the lack of sewer availability to serve the prop- <br />erty owned by Western Concrete Products Inc., it is <br />necessary for the company to make application to the <br />City Council for a holding tank permit pursuant to the <br />City Council's policy as set forth in Resolution No. <br />73-140; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of August 28, 1979, con- <br />sidered a report from the Director of Public Work and <br />Utilities dated August 22, 1979, together with attach- <br />ments thereto, pertaining to a request for a holding tank <br />for use by Western Concrete Products and recommended ap- <br />proval of said request. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the application of WesternConcreteProducts, <br /> Inc,,for a permit to construct a 10,000 gallon holding <br /> tank at its facility to be located on a 7-acre site just <br /> westerly of the Pleasanton Ready Mix facility and between <br /> the Western Pacific Railroad and Valley Avenue subject <br /> to the following conditions: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />That detailed plumbing plans and probable future <br />site development plans be submitted to the Director <br />of Public Works and Utilities for approval prior <br />to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />That detailed plans showing the location, construc- <br />tion materials and details as well as all other <br />pertinent data concerning this holding tank be sub- <br />mitted to and approved by the Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities prior to installation of the tank. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />That the property owner enter into a standard Hold- <br />ing Tank Agreement with the City prior to issuance <br />of a building permit. <br /> <br /> <br />
