CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-127 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXPENDITURE BY THE CITY TO <br />SHARE WITH THE PLEASANTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE THE COST <br />OF PUBLISHING AN INFORMATIONAL BROCHURE ABOUT THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce is planning to develop <br />and print a color brochure which will show the business areas <br />in Pleasanotn, the City Hall, shopping malls, recreation areas, <br />and the relation of Pleasanton to the greater Bay Area with a <br />number of pictures and graphics; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of July 24, 1979, received <br />a request from the Chamber of Commerce for participation by <br />the City in the cost of publishing the brochures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after discussion, Council determined that it would advan- <br /> tageous to have such a brochure to give to interested persons. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Approves participation by the City of Pleasanton in the <br />cost of printing an informational color brochure about <br />Pleasanton in an amount not to exceed one-half the cost of <br />publishing, and in any event the City's share to be not more <br />than $1,750. <br /> <br />Section 2.
