CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-126 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE COST OF ABATEMENT OF WEEDS FOR 1979 WHEREAS, abatement of weeds upon or in front of property within the City of Pleasanton has been satisfactorily completed consistent with the provisions of the Government Code relating thereto; and WHEREAS, the Fire Marshal of the City of Pleasanton has prepared, based upon iformation furnished by the City's contractor, a list of the costs on a per lot basis of abating weeds upon or in front of said lots; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at their meeting of July 24, 1979 review- ed the itemization of costs which had been previously posted outside the City Council Chambers consistent with the requirements of the Government Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The itemization of the weed abatement costs for 1979 contained in the report of the Fire Marshal of the City of Pleasanton Fire Department dated July 24, 1979, is hereby confirmed. Section 2. The appropriate City Officers are instructed to take whatever action necessary to implement said confirmation including the filing of said itemization of costs with the Auditor of the County of Alameda in order that said costs be billed and collected as taxes against the lots to which the costs herein approved have attached as liens. Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
