CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-160 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION TO PREZONE <br />A 35-ACRE SITE LOCATED BETWEEN THE ROSEPOINTE SUBDIVISION <br />AND HAPPY VALLEY ROAD IMMEDIATELY WESTERLY OF AMBER LANE <br />TO THE R-i-20,000 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of September 11, 1979 <br />received a proposed negative declaration to prezone a <br />35 acre site located between the Rosepointe Subdivision <br />and Happy Valley Road immediately westerly of Amber Lnae <br />to the R-i-20,000 (Single-Family Residential) District <br />(hereinafter referred to as the Project); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed prezoning is a <br />project for the purposes of the California Environmental <br />Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and ProcedUres adoptedby the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of September 11, 1979 also <br /> received that Initial Study dated August 8, 1979; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. <br />77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Evnironmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed Negative <br /> Declaration to prezone a 35 acre site located between the <br /> Rosepointe Subdivision and Happy Valley Road immediately <br /> westerly of Amber Lane to the R-i-20,000 (Single-Family <br /> Residential) District would not have any significant adverse <br /> effects on the environment and therefore no Environmental <br /> Impact Report shall be prepared. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
