CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-141 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN AMENDMENT <br />TO THE GENERAL PLAN RE TAUBMAN PROPERTY TO CHANGE <br />THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED ON <br />THE NORTHHAST COPd~ER OF FOOTHILL ROAD AND STONERIDGE <br />DRIVE FROM "PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL" TO "COMMERCIAL <br />AND OFFICES." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of August 28, 1979 re- <br />ceived a mitigated negative declaration for an amendment <br />to the General Plan Re Taubman property to change the <br />land use designation of the property located on the north- <br />east corner of Foothill Roa'd and Stoneridge Drive from <br />"Public and Institutional" to "Commercial and Offices" <br />(hereinafter referred to as the Project); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed General Plan Amend- <br />ment is a project for the purposes of the California En- <br />vironmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of August 28, 1979 also <br />received that:Initial Study dated August 1, 1979; and <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. <br />77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative De- <br />claration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been publish- <br />ed in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circula- <br />tion; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />mental Impact Re ort shall be prepared, <br />effects are capaEle of being mitigated. <br /> <br /> The City Council determines that the proposed General <br />Plan amendment to change the land use designation of the <br />property located on the northeast corner of Foothill Road <br />and Stoneridge Drive from "Public and Institutional" to <br />"Commercial and Offices" would not have any significant ad- <br />verse effects on the environment and therefore no Environ- <br /> since any adverse <br /> <br /> <br />
