CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAS~TON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-176 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A POLICY RELATING TO ANNEY~TIONS <br />TO THE CITY THAT NO NEW ANNEXATION BE APPROVED UNTIL A STUDY <br />HAS BEEN COMPLETED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of September 18, 1979, <br />received and discussed requests by property owners for <br />annexation to the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />it was determined to be in the best interests of the City <br />and its residents to deny any annexations until after a <br />report is received from the City Council/Planning Commission/ <br />Staff Committee, reviewing the Urbanization Line, which is <br />expected to be completed in early December. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Establishes a policy that no new annexations to the City <br /> will be approved until a study has been completed and a report <br /> received from the City Council/Planning Commission/Staff Com- <br /> mittee which is expected to be completed in December, 1979. <br /> <br />Section 2.
