CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-172 <br /> <br />APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION ON THE APPLICATION OF <br />JOE BOATRIGHT AND RAY GODDRICH PUD-79-2 FOR A REZONING <br />TO HPD (HILLSIDE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT FOR AN <br />ll-LOT RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION ON 55 ACRES OF THE 73 <br />ACRE SITE LOCATED WEST OF FOOTHILL ROAD AND NORTH OF <br />LONGVIEW DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of September 18, 1979 <br />received a proposed negative declaration for an application <br />of Joe Boatright and Ray Goodrich PUD-79-2 for a rezoning to <br />HPD (Hillside Planned Development) District for an ll-lot <br />residential subdivision on 55 acres of the 73 acre site <br />located west of Foothill Road and north of Longview (herein- <br />after referred to as the Project); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed rezoning of the 73 <br />acre site PUD-79-2 is a project for the purposes of the <br />California Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for <br />the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council, at its meeting of September 18, 1979 also <br /> received that Initial Study dated April 25, 1979; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. <br />77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of genreal circulation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Prcedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed rezoning <br /> of the 73 acre site located west of Foothill Road and north <br /> of Longview Drive to HPD (Hillside Planned Development) <br /> would not have any significant adverse effect on the environ- <br /> ment and therefore no Environmental Impact Report shall be <br /> prepared. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
