CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-162 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING APPEAL BY S~0NESON DEVELOPmeNT <br />CORPORATION OF A CONDITION OF APPROVAL BY THE DESIGN <br />REVIEW BOARD OF A 158 UNIT CONDOMINIUM PROJECT PROPOSED <br />TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF STONERIDGE DRIVE <br />BETWEEN PLEASANT HILL DRIVE AND SPRINGDALE AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on July 11, 1979, the Design Review Board approved the design <br />of a 158-unit condominium complex proposed to be constructed <br />by Stoneson Development Corporation on an approximately 13.5 <br />acre site located on the south side of Stoneridge Drive <br />between Springdale Avenue and Pleasanton Hill Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said approval was given subject to 27 separate conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the City Council meeting of September 11, 1979, Stoneson <br />Development Corporation appealed condition number three which <br />reads as follows: <br /> <br />"That the entire width of Gold Creek from Pleasant <br />Hill Drive to the Springdale Avenue shall be part of <br />the commonly owned area of the project and shall be <br />cleaned and repaired by the developer at time of <br />construction and maintained at all times by the home- <br />owner's association to the satisfaction of the City."; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on the appeal before the City Council <br />at its meeting of September 11, 1979, at which time City staff, <br />the applicant and members of the public were given an opportun- <br />ity to give testimony regarding the project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Supports the decision of the Design Review Board on July <br />11, 1979 and denies the appeal of Stoneson Development from <br />condition number three of the conditions which the Board <br />attached to the approval of the project. <br /> <br />Section 2.
