CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-196 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1979-80 LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />FAMILY TUTORIAL PROGRAM INC., AND THE CITY FOR THE USE OF <br />THE VETERANS BUILDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Family Tutorial Program, Inc., has leased the Veteran's <br />Building from the City for use as a congregate meal site and <br />supportive recreational, information referral, education and <br />outreach services for approximately sixty-five (65) senior <br />citizens daily for the past year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Family Tutorial Program, Inc. paid a monthly rental fee of <br />One-hundred and twenty-five dollars ($125.00) for non-exclusive <br />building use from Monday through Friday for the hours of 9:00 <br />a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has negotiated a lease with Family Tutorial with no <br /> changes from last year's lease; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 23, 1979, the City Council reviewed <br />the lease agreement and report of the Director of Recreation <br />and Human Resources relating to the negotiated agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the Mayor to execute the 1979-80 lease agreement <br /> between the Family Tutorial Program, Inc. and the City of <br /> Pleasanton for the non-exclusive use of the Veteran's Building <br /> for a Senior lunch program from July 31, 1979 to June 30, 1980. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately after <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 23, 1979, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood and <br /> Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />Cla~ton E.
