CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-190 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PARADE PERMIT FOR FOOTHILL <br />HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS CLUB <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of October 9, 1979, received <br />a report from Assistant City Manager, Mr. James Walker, re- <br />garding a parade application from the Foothill High School <br />Band Boosters Club; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the Foothill High School Band Booster Club has sponsored an <br />annual High School Marching Parade in Pleasanton the last <br />four years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council deliberated on whether or not the City should <br />require Foothill Band's Booster Club to reimburse the City for <br />the City's expenses set forth above. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves an application by Foothill High School Band Boosters <br /> Club for a parade to be held in the City of Pleasanton on October <br /> 27, 1979, as more part~ularly delineated in the report of the <br /> Assistant City Manager dated October 1, 1979, subject to all <br /> conditions set forth by the Police Department. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City budget for fiscal year 1979-80 is amended by <br /> allocating from the unallocated reserve approximately $1170.00 <br /> necessary to pay for the costs incurred~in relationship to <br /> the parade to be held by the Foothill High School Band Boosters <br /> Club on October 27, 1979. <br /> <br />Section 3.
