CITY ~OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAS~NTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 79-183 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION <br />WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY FOR APPROPRIATION OF ONE HUNDRED <br />TEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE AND SIXTY-FIVE <br />100THS DOLLARS ($110,773.65) IN GAS TAX FUNDS TO THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton's share of the 1979-80 Mayors' <br /> Formula Distribution of certain gas tax funds, administered <br /> by the County of Alameda, is ONE HUNDRED TEN THOUSAND <br /> SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE AND SIXTY-FIVE 100THS <br /> DOLLARS ($110,773.65); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for appropriation of said fund to the City <br /> of Pleasanton has been prepared by the Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities for the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> October 4, 1979; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of October 9, 1979, reviewed <br /> said application together with the projects contained therein. <br /> <br />NOW~ THEREFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the Director of Public Works and Utilities to <br /> submit to the County Board of Supervisors an application for <br /> appropriation of gas tax funds for fiscal year 1979-80 in <br /> the sum of ONE HUNDRED TEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY- <br /> THREE AND SIXTY-FIVE 100THS DOLLARS ($110,773.65) in accordance <br /> with the application dated October 4, 1979, which is attached <br /> hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the City Clerk to transmit a copy of this <br /> resolution, together with Exhibit A, to the Board of Super- <br /> visors of Alameda County and to such other persons as may <br /> request a copy of said resolution. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 9, 1979, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br /> <br />NOES: None <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />C1 nE.
