CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-211 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING REIMBURSING ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />FOR THE ACTUAL COST OF CONSTRUCTION OF THE STANLEY <br />BOULEVARD BICYCLE LANE WITHIN THE PLEASANTON CITY LIMITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of November 13, 1979, received <br />a report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities that <br />Alameda County is completing the plans for the Stanley Boule- <br />vard Bicycle Path from Santa Rita Road to First Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Alameda County estimates this project will cost approximately <br />$45,000, including engineering and construction, with $15,000 <br />of the work being inside the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City had agreed to reimburse the County for its share and <br />this project had been previously budgeted using Metropolitan <br />Transit Commission funds; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Authorizes the City of Pleasanton's Financial Officer to <br />reimburse the County upon completion of the Stanley Boulevard <br />Bicycle Path from Santa Rita Road to First Street for the <br />actual cost of the project inside the City limits, not to <br />exceed $17,000. <br /> <br />Section 2.
