CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-239 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CONCURRING WITH PLANNING <br />COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1818, ENDORSING THE DOWNTOWN <br />STUDY PREPARED IN SEPTEMBER, 1979 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at a special meeting held on November 1, 1979, the Planning <br />Commission held a public hearing and considered the Central <br />Business District Residential Area Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after thoroughly reviewing the study and taking testimony <br />from the public, the Commission adopted Resolution No. 1818 <br />recommending approval of the report, including its recom- <br />mendations, without any modifications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of November 27, 1979, <br />received a report dated November 20, 1979 from the Director <br />of Planning and Community Development, together with copies <br />of the Central Business Residential Area Study, excerpts of <br />the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of November 11, <br />1979, and Planning Commission Resolutions Nos. 1818 and 1819; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Concurs with the action taken by the Planning Commission <br /> in the adoption of Resolution No. 1818, and endorses the <br /> Downtown Study prepared in September, 1979, and the findings <br /> therein. <br /> <br />Section 2.
