CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-229 APPROVING MODIFICATION OF AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE FIRE PRO- TECTION SERVICE TO UNINCORPORATED AREAS UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 1979 WHEREAS, the five year contract with Alameda County, dated March 11, 1974, to provide fire protection services to certain unin- corporated areas expired June 30, 1979; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has been requested by the Alameda County Administrator to extend the agreement for six months to December 31, 1979, with payment of $27,037.50 to the City to continue to provide fire protection services from July 1, through December 31, 1979; and WHEREAS, the City Council at their meeting of November 13, 1979, re- ceived a report from the Assistant City Manager recommending that the agreement be modified to provide for the extension to December 31, 1979; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the modification of the contract with Alameda County, dated March 11, 1979, to provide fire protection services to the unincorporated areas listed below for six months from July !, 1979, through December 31, 1979, and authorizes the execution of the Modification of Contract to provide for the extended term with a payment Of $27,037.50 to the City. F-1964-1 Remen Tract $ 1,037.50 F-1965-1 Castlewood $16,934.50 F-1965-2 Happy Valley $ 8,301.00 F-1965-3 Stanley Boulevard $ 765.50 Total ~27,037.50 This resolution shall be effective immediately.
