CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />AL~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-226 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED <br />WITH FEDERAL HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS <br />FOR THE SIXTH YEAR PROGRAM <br /> <br />~EREAS, the Congress of the United States has enacted the Housing <br /> and Community Development Act of 1974;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has since 1975 entered into cooperation <br />agreements with Alameda County regarding public projects to be <br />developed in the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on November 13, 1979, the City Council received a report from <br />the Director of Planning and Community Development together <br />with a three year Project Summary and a description of each <br />sixth year project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />although these sixth year projects were approved last year by <br />Council as part of a three-year Housing Community Development <br />funding application, Federal regulations require the City to <br />annually review, and revise, if necessary, the three year <br />project list; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves projects to be funded with Federal Housing and <br /> Community Development Act Funds as set forth in Staff Report <br /> 79:268, dated October 22, 1979, from the Director of Planning <br /> and Community Development, attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Section 2.
